About this directory
What this site is
Pickleball Court Guide lists 123 pickleball court businesses across Klang Valley, built for players who want to compare courts by location, facilities, and how they actually perform for people who play there. It’s an independent directory and comparison resource, and it also does something practical for the businesses listed here: we generate enquiries for local providers. When you ask to be matched with a court, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request, and we may receive a referral fee for that introduction. That referral arrangement never touches scores or earned rankings. It’s disclosed in full on the quote page whenever it applies.
Where the listing data comes from
Each listing is built from public business data (things like location, hours, facilities, and contact details) combined with a synthesis of recent Google reviews. We don’t republish review text wholesale. Instead, we distill what reviewers are consistently saying and link out to the actual Google listing so you can read the original reviews yourself before deciding anything.
How rankings are earned
Every ranking on this site comes from a published rubric applied to the data and review signals we collect, nothing else. There’s no mechanism for a business to pay for a higher position. The full scoring breakdown, including what gets weighted and why, is laid out on our methodology page, so you can check our working rather than take our word for it.
A business that appears here can request corrections to its own factual details: an updated address, new opening hours, a fixed phone number, a court count that’s changed. What no business can do, including sponsors, is edit its own score, its sentiment summary, or where it lands in the ranking. That separation is the whole point of the directory.
Sponsored listings
Some pages include a listing clearly labelled “Sponsored.” These are shown in their own separate section, visually distinct from the earned ranking, and they never displace or reorder the courts that have earned their position through the rubric. Sponsorship pays for visibility, not placement.
Who runs this
Pickleball Court Guide is published by Waypoint Local Guides, which has been building independent city directories for everyday services across Malaysia since 2025, starting with pickleball courts in Kuala Lumpur. Every listing across Waypoint’s directories runs through the same rule: rankings are earned from customer reviews and data, never sold as paid placement, and sponsored spots are always labelled as such.
Editorial oversight of the rankings sits with Sarah, Editor, who maintains the scoring and keeps listings honest against the published rubric. The full dataset is refreshed on a monthly cycle, and each individual listing carries a “last verified” stamp so you can see exactly when it was last checked rather than guessing at how current the information is.
